About The Barron Family AU

This family tree does not showing living family members, If you need any more
information please contact me. davidbarron@live.com.au

My name is David Barron and I have recently started tracing my family tree. I
live near Brisbane in Queensland, Australia with my wife and three children.
Being new to this and very inexperienced I am open to any suggestions or help
that any body can give me on family tree or web page

With help from family members we have traced a great deal of information on
some branches Archdall, Sallaway, Herron and Nicol but still have very little
on the Barron side.

BARRON

Milton (Bluey) Lewis Barron was born in Nowra, NSW, Australia in 1914 and died
in Muttaburra Qld, Australia in 1969. He married Lillian Hannah Herron in
Nowra in 1936 and had two son Maxwell Barron b.1937 Nowra-d.2002 Deception
Bay, Qld and (living) Barron (my father) but he separated and moved to
Muttaburra, Qld where he later died. His occupation was a mechanic.

Milton's (Bluey) parents were Louis Myrtle (Bert) Barron and Eleanor Thompson
who we think was an Irish immigrant. They may have ran a mission of sorts with
aboriginal children in the Nowra region and their may have been another son
who was institutionalized with a mental condition. Bert was one of 15 children
from William Barron and Hannah Wooden.

I do know that Williams parents were James Barron and Mary ? who had 3 boys
and 1 girl (James, William, Walter and Emma) but that is where the info runs
dry. It appears that there were a few James Barrons with most being convicts
transported from the UK.

Any assistance in tracing family any further would be greatly appreciated.
